There is a $2 per item fee; payment is cash only.

Air Ventilation (HVAC), Venue Cleaning & Sanitization
Chicago Symphony Center meets all CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines on fresh air intake and air circulation, with approximately 5-6 air changes per hour. Orchestra Hall's HVAC system uses a double-filter system: a MERV 8 pre-filter to remove large particles from the air, followed by a MERV 14a or 15 filter, the same used in hospitals, to remove finer particles.
High-touch areas, including countertops, door handles and elevators, are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout Chicago Symphony Center. Per CDC guidelines, people should wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Chicago Symphony Center is a mask-friendly environment where everyone is expected to adhere to current venue requirements and respect one another’s preferences.
All attendees are encouraged to self-screen for any illness symptoms before attending a Chicago Symphony event. If you are not feeling well you should not attend; instead, contact Patron Services for ticket options.

Digital Tickets
Chicago Symphony has launched new digital tickets.
Before arriving, access your digital tickets at tickets.chicagosymphony.org and log in using the same email and password used to order tickets, or request an access code be sent to that same email address. You must use the original email address; tickets will not be available if you log in with a different email address or register for a new account.
You can choose to add the tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet on your mobile device for easier access and quicker entry at the door. (Make sure your phone’s wallet app has “automatic updates” enabled for your ticket.)
Please note that a dynamic QR code will appear a few hours before the performance begins; screenshots and printouts of digital tickets are not accepted for entry.
Share your tickets with others using the sharing feature next to each ticket. Enter the recipient’s name and select the tickets you would like to share. Sharing tickets is not necessary if you are all entering the venue together.
Other Helpful Tips
- Consider bookmarking tickets.chicagosymphony.org and selecting the option to stay logged in, especially if not adding the tickets to your mobile wallet.
- When sharing tickets, make sure the recipient accepts them. The recipient may be prompted to create an account to access the tickets.
- Check that cellular data is turned on for your mobile device and for your device’s mobile wallet specifically. You can also connect to the free Chicago Symphony Wi-Fi when onsite.
- Review your tickets prior to attending the performance.
- Attend with a fully charged electronic device.
- If experiencing issues with the dynamic QR code, try refreshing the webpage and adjusting the dark/light mode settings on your device.
If 'Email Tickets' is an available option for your order, printable tickets will be emailed to you 12 days prior to the performance.
