Driving directions to the Grant Park South Garage
From the north/northwest: Take the Edens Expressway (I-94) to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94). At the Jayne Byrne Interchange, merge onto I-290 East and W. Ida B. Wells Dr. Turn left onto E. Congress Plaza Dr. (at Michigan Ave.) and then make a right turn onto Michigan Ave. The Grant Park South Garage entrance is on the left, in the middle of Michigan Ave.
From the west: The Eisenhower (I-290) becomes westbound Congress Parkway/Ida B. Wells Dr. Proceed east past Michigan Ave. Turn left on to eastbound Ida B. Wells Drive, heading northwest. Turn right on to Michigan Ave., heading north. Enter the Grant Park South Garage on the left, in the middle of Michigan Ave.
From the southwest: Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to DuSable Lake Shore Dr. Head north on DuSable Lake Shore Dr. Turn left on to eastbound Balbo Dr., heading west. Turn right on to Michigan Ave. and head north for three blocks. After Van Buren St., the entrance to the Grant Park South Garage is on the left, in the middle of Michigan Ave.
From the south: Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) to westbound Roosevelt Rd. Head east on Roosevelt Rd. Make a left onto Michigan Ave., heading north for seven blocks. After Van Buren St., the entrance to the Grant Park South Garage is on the left, in the middle of Michigan Ave.
Parking: Exclusive parking rates are available through Millennium Garages, the preferred parking partner of Chicago Symphony. The closest parking garage is the Grant Park South Garage, located at 325 S. Michigan Ave.

Subscriber parking card
Subscribers are eligible to receive an exclusive flat rate for up to 12 hours of parking at any of the Millennium Garages, including Grant Park South, Grant Park North, Millennium Park and Millennium Lakeside. To take advantage of this option, you will need to set up a Chicago Symphony parking account with Millennium Garages. Your account will be linked to a credit or debit card, which will be charged each time you park.
If you already have a parking account, your parking access does not expire. Keep your payment information up-to-date via the Flex Daily Portal to avoid any parking disruptions.

The Grant Park South Garage offers a security escort between the garage’s pedestrian lobby and your vehicle. To take advantage of this service, please call 312-922-1156 15-20 minutes prior to walking to the garage.
Additional Information
- License plate reading technology is used to identify your car when entering or exiting the garage
- Having a parking keycard is not required if your license plate information is correct in your Chicago Symphony parking account
- You can add up to three vehicles/license plate numbers to your profile
- Only one car in your account is allowed in the garage at a time
Parking validation machine at the Box Office
A parking validation machine is available at the Box Office. The validation machine rate is $22 for up to 12 hours of parking at the Grant Park South Garage.
Valet service at Adams St. entrance
A valet parking service is only available for CSO classical concerts. The valet stand is located at the 67 E. Adams St. entrance.
Valet service begins two and a half hours before the performance. Cars need to be retrieved within one hour after the performance. The valet service is $40, cash only, and reservations are not required in advance.

North Shore Shuttle for CSO Friday matinees
With the popular North Shore Shuttle, you can avoid the stress of driving downtown and instead sit back, relax and enjoy the company of other Chicago Symphony Orchestra patrons. The shuttle departs from Winnetka three hours before the concert, allowing you to arrive early enough for either the preconcert conversation or a chance to dine downtown before the performance. The roundtrip shuttle ride is $30 per person, and advance reservation is required as space is limited. Learn more and book your ride today.
Public transportation
Chicago Symphony Center is conveniently located near several Chicago Transit Authority, train and bus stations. The Adams/Wabash CTA L station (Brown, Green, Orange and Pink lines) is one block west. Buses that service the area include routes 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 26, 28, 126, 143, 147, 151 and J14.
Metra provides service to many suburbs, departing from four downtown stations.
Paratransit
For paratransit, request the 220 S. Michigan Ave. entrance as close as possible to the automated doors. The automated doors are the southernmost glass doors of the main entrance. If you prefer to use the 67 E. Adams St. entrance, the double set of glass doors are also automated. There are some chairs and cushioned benches, as well as security desks, within a few feet of both entrances. Ask your driver to connect with our security team to assist in your pick-up.
Bike share and bike racks
A Divvy bike station is located on the north side of Chicago Symphony Center at 67 E. Adams St. Bike racks are located on Michigan Ave.
